Is there any interest in a lowend oriented Database as a Service (Just MySQL & Redis) provider?

Probably ~$35/month for a 3 VM cluster (it would always be a 3 VM Cluster) with shared resources:
1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30GB Disk
12 nodes per Server ($420/month per cluster, cluster costs $200/month to lease from OVH)
Linode (for comparison) charges $70/month for a similar cluster.

How are you planning to deal with latency? Also Lightsail RDS and Dynamodb have quite the competitive pricing.
This is really only a decent offering people using OVH datacenters or VPS hosts in OVH datacenters.
I could probably offer it at other providers for higher prices but I suspect people will not buy above $35/month.

But latency is going to destroy you anyway.
