SYS server for transfer (E3-SAT-1-32)

Hi.

I have server that not needed anymore.
It's on SYS EU account (not sure if its possible to transfer now, but we will try).

E3-SAT-1-32 (Intel Xeon E3-1245v2 - 32GB DDR3 1333 MHz - 3x 2To SATA)
DC: RBX2
+1 additional IP (one time fee already paid), so two IPv4 with server.
Download: 1Gbit, upload 250 Mbit.

Renewal price: 29.99 €/month
Expiry date (paid until): 19 Jul 2022

I want $60 (just what I already paid for two+ month) for it, payment by crypto (usdt).

Pls confirm with support else you are creating problems for multiple users

My recent experience; even if support initially tell you they can transfer it, they will later tell you that you cannot transfer it.

haha yeh heard that.. but, its so irresponsible to first get money - get hopes up for the transaction and then bam all goes down the hole

  • From i know, you cant transfer your sys server

  • Best to assume transferring any OVH/SyS/KS is not going to work without major headaches.

I don't want to blame our MJJ comrades but I blame the MJJs for this.

    Even OVH won't work?

Same company. Expect headaches if you proceed. Most people will verify this. Some are successful but most aren't. All attempts face delays and headaches, whether successful or not.

Had 2 transfers in the past 30 days - 1 SYS, 1 KS.

Both were completed within a couple days and without any issues at all.

So while some might have bad exp, it is always worth trying (for EU).
Pretty sure only US is rejecting transfers.

So please clarify your posts and/or stop spreading rumors.

    Cheers.

EU rejected my transfer request after initially saying it could be done.

Quite odd. As I said, just recently completed two transfers (being the receiving party).

Both times via ticket and the PDF - way, but in the end it worked out.

Really seems like a lottery then?...

Absolute lottery. The initial response to my ticket even outlined the process step-by-step, so it seemed nailed on. Then a week of silence and another support worker gets involved and misinterprets the question, I reject the solution and another week of silence, then the original support guy gets involved again and I think we’re done and then he turns around and says it’s not allowed anymore.

What really annoys me is I renewed the server one day before the rejection because they told me it could be done. Now it’s with the refund department, but I don’t have high hopes.

Frankly the experience is so shit think I’m just going to cancel everything I have with OVH. I’ll pay the extra to have access to better support when I need it.
