  2. They don't really need it.
  3. Transfers are free - first 3 at least I think.
  4. You get to "win" some of your money back, if not all

  the last time I offered their promo server at no cost, to those begging on the anniversary thread, no one took it. (200GB storage $20/yr & 4cpu/12gb/50nvme/4tb $65/yr, both singapore)
