Do you see an option to migrate in the panel? If yes I would say it's worth trying.

I think what he means is that his VM has
already been activated and he can't cancel a ticket sent previously requesting activation since he doesn't need it anymore!

  • @VirMach

If it does not appear on the panel, it means that it is currently disabled.

@ VirMach said: Migrate button removed for now.

    "When will it be re-enabled?"
Only someone who has traveled back in time from the future can answer this, and VirMach is looking for such a person.

anything with a 10G link? :) more interested in network connectivity considering a storage VPS will always have slower disk than NVMe

@Nico9999 said: When will the server of the TYOC038 node be repaired? I have only been running for a day since I turned it on. I sent View Ticket #128021, but this View Ticket is closed.

If you open the server in the billing panel do you see a "Migrate Ryzen" button? If so you might be able to select "Tokyo & migrate without data" to be put on a different node in Tokyo. Of course it might still be broke, or maybe it would work. What do you have to lose by trying? You will need to reinstall the operating system if the migration is successful.

EDIT: I found where VirMach said this would probably work.

[@VirMach said] Hi guys, if you're stuck on a node with a broken VM it might be worth a try to do the Ryzen migrate option for faster re-create, I'll try to add it for SJC but it'll work for TYOC038 problem.

I want to do this, but the migration option is gone, so I can't fix it this way.

And suddenly just like that all tickets would disappear and people would start to actually think before they submit a ticket and only submit a ticket for actual problems

The HTML5 VNC is broken in SolusVM. Try installing TightVNC or similar program then VNC works very well.

And then you consider recruiting a Chinese person who doesn't know English and is not in the US but only knows Chinese to take on MJJ? Consider me?

Yeah, let's take up time to provide as one of the first a just-released OS where every sensible person would wait for the .1 version to use in a production-like environment, instead of looking into stability problems, unprovisioned users, lots of tickets or a new environment that is being setup.

Not as a SolusVM template. https://templates.solusvm.com/kvm/

and I also do not see it yet on the netboot.xyz ISO.

You can follow this tutorial to first install Ubuntu 20.04 and then upgrade to 22.04

Make sure you VPS has enough RAM to handle this upgrade before proceeding.

EDIT: See @tototo comment below for netboot.xyz.

@FrankZ The latest version of netboot.xyz is compatible with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. (It was released a dozen hours ago!) So you should be able to install it directly following this.
This is taken on Dallas CC node but it should also work on a Ryzen node.

    The advantage of these steps:

    • Always use the latest version of netboot.xyz
    • No need to change boot order or ISO from Billing Panel/SolusVM panel

    yum clean all.
    Cleaning repos
    yum update.
    Determining fastest mirrors
906 packages excluded due to repository priority protections
    updating netboot.xyz

    I've now been updated.
Thanks. This is why it takes a team. :sunglasses:
