Wait few days (5-7 days), then submit a ticket to billing department if it's not adjusted.

I bought it on March 14. Does that mean I'm the last batch?

Most orders happened March 12th. A lot more than I thought, I guess everyone jumped on the deal very quickly.

We're at 81% and we need to get to around 84% for the 13th and around 94% for 14th.

    sure?
I see you replying in the forums mornings and evenings, however in the last few days only 4% of VMs have been activated in Japan, from 77% to 81%.
If you have more time, please go to the problem solving or activate more virtual machines instead of all day in the forum.
Your activation efficiency has not surpassed my privately deployed Intel 2680v2 server.
Your productivity is so low that the 5900X's processor usage is so low that Lisa Su feels shameless.
I barely feel your credibility as a businessman.

Looks like everything is eligible? I see the ryzen migrate button on BF flash deals, eggs and the normal plans. I think the addons don't get migrated but it's not a problem for me. For example, if you paid for the 10 Gbps addon you don't get it.

I think if you have anything extra like higher speed ports, extra IPs or any other addons you care about maybe you shouldn't migrate yet.

All services have migrate to Ryzen buttons. This is only a few hours old, and I think VirMach is still working on it.
I do not know for sure which services are eligible, but me just being me I would say that I expect that first will be the migration specials from the sale last year, and the full price Xeon customers, and some folks that arranged it previously from this sale. I do not think the BF specials are working yet. Beyond that I would only be guessing.

No, you should be activated within a couple of more days. Opening a ticket asking for your service to be activated might get you put at the end of the line.

Just got released a couple hours ago. Here's a GIF of it in action.

Hmm. I guess you'll have to bold and italicize that line "Location with .... immediate migration".

I need to just keep a few E5's and make a blacklist for everyone who makes tickets, etc, about this free process expecting more and just leave them on an E5.

    Opps,Opps,Opps
[Important] Service Migration & Upgrade on Wednesday, March 23rd
What time is it? blacklist ? Interesting

Emails for migration date Monday & Tuesday being sent out soon, these had to be delayed.

Do you mean that I am scheduling this email to be automatically migrated in the next issue? I don't need to migrate it manually. I sent the ticket because I found a migration button today and then clicked on it and reported an error.
Now the migration button is also gone. And ticket closed.
    Thanks!

@cybertech said: kioxia has lower TBW than competition

I think I changed my mind on TBW.

It's not really indicative of anything. Yes, theoretically, and I would probably originally argue this, if they advertise higher, then they clearly are confident in their product and it will last longer. But the more I looked into it, there's plenty of shoddy ones that have 5 year and really high TBW. Except they just make the entire RMA process hell. Some will ignore you, some want you to send it directly to another country and take weeks to months, and reject it for whatever reason, and most importantly, a lot of them count on you just not cashing in the warranty so they'll advertise whatever.

In the end TBW doesn't mean anything other than when the warranty runs out.

MTBF is the one that means something, it's the mean time to failure, but pretty much all of them are the same there.

(edit) I must say though that of course different specific controllers combined with different specific DRAM and NAND/V-NAND will definitely have different lifespans but the only way to truly know is to look at the advertised life of those components specifically, which is difficult to find and kept behind closed doors in a lot of cases.

    Dear VirMach Customers,
We are currently investigating an unexpected outage with LAKVM26. We will update you as soon as we hear back from our datacenter.

Update 10:27PM 03/15/2022 - Currently it appears that the RAID controller or failed drives may be the issue. When rebooted the machine appears to boot into a MEGARAID drive missing screen. IPMI is not currently working so we are having a KVM attached so we can attempt to resolve IPMI and then the RAID array.

Update 2:20AM 03/16/2022 - It appears that 4 out of the 8 drives have failed in this machine. We have forwarded this issue to a systems administrator so we can find a solution to minimize data loss as much as possble.

Update 10:41 03/16/2022 - Unfortunately we were unable to repair the failed RAID array. We are currently evaluating the next best course of action for this.
    Thanks,
    VirMach Support"

    No fix to date!

Only solution at this point is data wipe and re-install if you are in a hurry, give me the ticket ID for that request if that's what you want. We're still trying to avoid that, and that sometimes takes weeks for shipping things around and coordinating with the datacenter. This situation happens once every few years, and this is one of them.

The RAID controller failed in conjunction with at least one drive, and caused a chain reaction.

I worded this poorly perhaps, I thought it was clear given the context, but to clarify 100% last order as in the last order from this sale was placed on March 16th. So anyone who placed an order on 16th will only be activated at close to when we get to 100% completion.

Of course it's still a real possibility that it'll by done by the 16th of April.
