cold joke. Not humorous at all, so the migration doesn't work
so how can i move to japan help me
What is still in LA? Did you request a migration from LA to JP, then the request went through but you are still provisioned in LA?
LA doesn't have any data and just wants to migrate Japan,Only gave a Japanese IP, the node is still in LA
It's worse than that, I think he's saying he picked migration reservation for Japan which is not immediately available and he's expecting an immediate migration. If we start getting too many comments or requests about this I'll just have to ruin it for everyone and lock it off and not allow anyone to migrate to Japan for free.
Then you are 50% there right!
JK. Probably wait for few days for Virmach to complete all the activation on current JP nodes, then submit a ticket if he hasn't fix it before that.
Ah that makes sense. I didn't even know there's a "reservation" option...
catch 22
Just got released a couple hours ago. Here's a GIF of it in action.
Hmm. I guess you'll have to bold and italicize that line "Location with .... immediate migration".
I need to just keep a few E5's and make a blacklist for everyone who makes tickets, etc, about this free process expecting more and just leave them on an E5.
Do you want to bet how long does it take for the "Immediate migration to JP or other Ryzen nodes is available" to appear on Hostloc without additional context?
Okay yeah, I'm not going to do anything to go against a community of people, but I definitely just sent our developer a message asking him if he can at least disallow this from being used "problematic" marked customers (you get put in this group if you spam tickets, etc.) and "multiple account" and "abusive" (you get put in this last one if you send out bruteforce attacks, etc.)
sorry i didn't know it was scheduled please don't get excited thanks for your reasonable explanation
Do you have any recommendation for making the message more clear to others to help them understand?
Scheduled transfer scheduled transfer...only helped here
@VirMach - It's a small thing, but to avoid confusion, you might want to change in the location drop down box for the Ryzen migrations "Denver, CD" to "Denver, CO".
You may add some translated content into the modal so that they won't misunderstand what this is intended for. Here is the example I translated from your existing message to Chinese:
"As part of our transition to Ryzen host nodes we are allowing clients to choose where they would like to have their services migrated to. Please select your preferred location below." -> "作为我们逐渐转换到Ryzen宿主机的一部分工作,我们现在允许顾客选择他们期望将现有的服务器迁移到哪一个地区,请在下面选择你偏好迁移到的目标地区"
"Locations marked with an asterisk() are available for immediate migration without data."
"Choose whether you need to have your data migrated or not. Choosing to have your service migrated without data will allow us to migrate your server a lot faster." -> "请确认在迁移此服务到新的地区时是否需要同时迁移你服务器里面已有的数据,如果你选择不保留数据(Without Data)的话可以让迁移过程更快一些。"
@VirMach
Is it not allowed to migrate from Seattle to San Jose?
It is showing We failed to submit the request.
Fixed! Actually I'll have a look over the whole file now, I wasn't the one that wrote all this, so maybe I can add some finishing touches.
The same "We failed to submit the request", NL -> San Jose
Thank you for the translations.
I'll speak with our developer and confirm if we can add this into the code without causing errors. Then I'll initially have it placed for everyone with accounts registered in China. I understand some have their locations set otherwise, so I'll add another message in these requests that states to first at least temporarily change your location to China, with a link to the profile page to edit country, if people want to activate proper translations to better understand the English messages. I want to refrain from putting this for everyone as I assume it will only confuse people who do not speak Chinese since they're not used to seeing a translation to other languages alongside.
I'll have developer review debug logs tomorrow, you can assume it's broken until at least tomorrow if it doesn't work for you.
Actually for these can I also get your product ID?
315063 ticket number
can sanjose 8g deploy, i open ticket ,but its was closed, please help me

[Important] Service Migration & Upgrade on Wednesday, March 23rd
What time is it? blacklist ? Interesting
Link
Why is my service being migrated?
We are upgrading our hardware. As you may know, we have been running our services on dual Intel E5-2660v2 and similar processors, and SATA solid state drives. The new hardware will be AMD Ryzen processors with up to 2.5x the performance, and we will be utilizing NVMe solid state drives which are also several times faster. We are also relocating to a datacenter with IPv6 support, and in our opinion, an improved network.
What will change?
Your service's IP address will change, as we are no longer leasing the old IP addresses from the previous datacenter. All data will be migrated. There will be a few hours of downtime while data is migrated.
What time will it occur?
The migration will happen between 12PM and 12AM (midnight.) We cannot provide a more specific time frame due to the nature of the migration, as having a larger window allows us to reduce the total amount of downtime per service. Your service should not be offline for this entire period of time, and should only be offline for approximately 3 hours.
Thank you for understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We hope you enjoy your improved service once the migration is complete.
Please follow our network status page for more information and updates.

You're on the wrong message board. That offer was posted elsewhere.
@VirMach If the system automatically creates a ticket when purchasing a product, like "Subject: Order #12345 Approved", is it counted as 0 tickets and 0 comments?
Emails for migration date Monday & Tuesday being sent out soon, these had to be delayed.
Not sure. Depends.
Just curious, would you allow some of the traffic specializations plans to migrate to Japan as well? I thought traffic costs in the region were supposed to be higher?
