Suspecting MJJs of spreading rumors about free RAM upgrade for non-spammers? Sure enough, some did.
https://hostloc-com.translate.goog/thread-1000686-1-1.html?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en
Words like maybe, probably, estimated, expected, currently don’t go over well with MJJs as they take every single word over-seriously whether it’s negated/retracted or not.
Not sure if I updated you guys yesterday on this but Amsterdam has been picked up fully for the initial quantities.
Tokyo looks like it's calmed down since last night finally, more creations will start soon for the last 23%~ or so of them.
I saw Chicago is listed as "Shipped" in your update page, however I don't think Chicago is available to pre-order for this promo or the LES one. Will you throw another promo for Chicago or potentially Frankfurt/Miami when those are available?
Sure but I'm allowed to give "unfair" free upgrades to whoever I want for whatever reason. It's also unfair if I tip a waiter $10 and then not give everyone else in the world $10 but life's not fair.
Probably not, at least for now.
Okay since you've tagged me in a comment about how you've done something and want something, you're not getting a free RAM upgrade.
You can't apply for it, but you can apply for NOT getting it and you've just done that!
Yeah it seems like people like ruining everything for everyone all the time. I'm probably not even doing it anymore.
I would suggest keeping jokes only in 2018 topic, this one must be serious business.
Sorry, we were not voted #1 most professional provider, and I took that personally.
OK, you're the boss.
So true, life is unfair and hard.
Regarding the whole bandwidth thing, I've been running a VPS and measuring a "normal" amount of traffic and that came out to about 250MB in 2 hour period. Anything else and it seems like your VPS is either receiving additional traffic or maybe you're viewing it via VNC and since we're doing everything over public IP addresses, it's possible that the VNC traffic also gets counted against your total usage.
Since noVNC/VNC is essentially broadcasting the data as displayed on your virtual "screen" or whatever you want to call it, I assume it would use more bandwidth.
@VirMach may I ask the Tokyo 23% will be finished in the next 24 hours ? I am looking forward to my 2.5G RAM server which paid on 12th March will be activated soon
@VirMach - I have been testing the Debian 11 auto-shutdown and the bandwidth thing and both seem to me to be nothing burgers.
My Debian 11 install on a 2.5GB VPS has not auto-shutdown at all in the last 24+ hours.
The iftop shown bandwidth thing does not show as accumulating in the billing panel.
Just my 2 cents
A lot of bandwidth tracking is broken on SolusVM right now and I've been dealing with abusers manually, and waiting for a resolution from SolusVM. This was part of what was causing the issue with high interrupts and causing the networking to be unusable.
It's actually funny, the less I shut down abusers the less the system load. I was busy over the last 16 hours getting some sleep and being away from the computer for the most part working on packing more stuff to send and just dealing with pretty much everything else that doesn't involve working on servers, and they've been the quietest they've ever been. I get back on and start answering everyone and dealing with abuse, and all the systems randomly go up in usage and start overloading again.
384MB is out of stock
Great to hear this was smoothed out as I plan to use the same OS on my own 2.5GB VPS.
Too bad those 8GB servers have yet to materialize. I'm still a little interested.
I'm going to run it for a few more days just to make sure, but as of now there has been zero issues. Just as an FYI, I installed from the Debian 11.2 ISO in SolusVM.
So, it is all your fault, then?

Better get some more sleep.
All tickets are being MERGED if you have more than one ticket open. There will be some false positives if you have different tickets open for different issues but unfortunately this will apply for you as well, but you might as well close your ticket at that point and create one single ticket, because all MERGED tickets are getting their priority reduced to be absolute last on the list, as in we're ignoring all tickets with MERGED in the title until we finish all tickets ever, even the new ones created will be processed before MERGED tickets.
Yeah it makes me feel unwanted here, the servers are just telling me to leave them alone.
No
This is what makes Virmach specials truly unsustainable and loss leaders.
The 40-node i/o speed has started to slow down again, and it can't last for 24 hours
40 nodes started to be unstable, the delay was high,
Download speed 60MB/s right now and disks are 779.26 MB/sec, 3134.02 MB/sec, and 3332.94 MB/sec right now.
It's okay to post saying there's issues but please provide some troubleshooting data when you do so I can take a serious look for you, otherwise it will only continue the rumors about TYOC040.
(edit) and the one being 779MB/s is now 3971.73 MB/sec already.
Same thing here, provide info.
