EDIT: Oddly iftop does not show as much traffic on the Debian 11 install as the CentOS/Alma. Both are on same node. @pdd what O/S are you using?

My OS now is debian11, before that it was debian10 and had the same problem! So it shouldn't have much to do with OS. Since my last post yesterday, about 10 hours passed, the vm has been Completely idle but the traffic has consumed about 3GB and it also shows up on solusvm. I calculated that if it stays like this, the vm will consume nearly 5G of traffic per day while idle, that is 150GB per month. Just another GreenCloud! If that's the case then so be it!

That is odd. I show 18GB received traffic on the interface for the last two days, but just a little more than 1.5GB in SolusVM. Sorry I could not help to shed any light on your issue. Hope you figure it out. If you do, please let me know.

I forgot to provide an update on the page and maybe here, the staggers were marked as not running but were running for some time. We're up to about 77% now.

    Now it's not running.

unfortunately I am on the 23%

    you are not alone 🙏

Just ignore him. There's people on hostloc (mjjs) who genuinely believe providers artificially raise the bandwidth usage numbers to cheap out on traffic and charge overages. Nothing you say will change his opinion.

Which cloud kernel? This one? https://packages.debian.org/sid/linux-image-cloud-amd64

    yes
    improve memory usage
i have tested many vps and there are no compatibility issues
vir case, im using the general kernel just for now, do some test about shutdown

I always use generic or whatever specific on the platform (Azure, AWS)... But yeah I almost never buy any VPS with lower than 1GB ram.

i have 4 low end stuff only for vps

and my digitalocean has 2g ram, also cloud kernel now

So, how much do you spend each month?

@FrankZ said: I really though VirMach said that as a joke, but just in case he was serious...
0 ticket and 0 comments about ticket id here as well

If it's not a joke, would be unfair for many. In common sence, people will not open tickets if they satisfy with the service, and they can get more? Someone may not know LET, only use tickets to report an issue or communicate with Virmach, like provide imformation like you do in LET, while there will not be 0 ticket then.

This is a real problem. Don't go to conspiracy theories.
Providers need to achieve intranet isolation to solve this problem.

Could you turn off the annoying Clouflare CAPTCHA on the login page?

Or switch to Google CAPTCHA like other providers? At least Google CAPTCHA won't show up for the first login attempt.

Have you tried connecting with VNC? If VNC in the control panel doesn't work, try something like UltraVNC.

@VirMach said: Maybe I'll sprinkle in some free RAM upgrades to people who made 0 tickets, 0 comments with their ticket ID, etc, since we have so much extra. I already regret saying that because the people that made the most tickets are probably going to start making tickets asking for free RAM now.

    Waiting silently to get it?

  • I haven't open a ticket for ryzen vps, however I applied for an early activation service in lowend, but my reason is to help test the stability of the server, and I also want to get free ram, @virmach
