Alternative to Voxility DDoS Protection
Hi,
There are any "affordable" DDoS Protection like Voxility? I mean which can guarantee a good stability in Network? I heard good about Path.net but how much it costs? For small-medium company.
Voxility is great but is quite expensive especially if is ALWAYS ON. Yes we can pay 2500€ monthly. But Corero is about 50.000€ investment, probably we can recover that Money in some months. Right?
I mean, I want to make a investment but need to be sure that will be a good investimento without risking to much. Lets say we Invest 50.000€ in Corero. If GOES wrong we lose Money instead doing a good investment.
I would like to know which providers can handle with 100Gbps-500Gbps of DDoS attacks (not always), but we have some attacks near close to 40-80Gbps.. sometimes it got Higher than we expect.
Yes like I Said before Corero can be more expensive than Voxility, but is only One time... For inicial configuration etc and after that 10.000€ yearly? Right or close to be that.. (depending)
Any alternative? Any solution? We would like to see any provider that was this problem or issue. Which is your choice and which is the best solution.
DDoS Protection choosing a good solution is like solving puzzle. The problem here is a good solution that can be affordable and guarantee a good Protection to clients. That is the most important thing. But of course, we can't discart prices / costs.
Thank you

@ChrisMiller
I forget to explain, as Hosting Provider. We are looking for solutions to that. Datacenter in Europe. Voxility isn't bad. But is expensive in Always ON Mode.. sometimes can cover other investiments...
@Clouvider maybe?
We have multiple Pops around Europe.
We provide >10Tbit of DDoS Protection for our customers. We recently had a 1.6Tbit attack against a Rust server and the players actively using the server at the time didn't even notice.
Contact US here and tell them I sent you and we can get you a good deal: https://path.net/contact
Let me know if you have any questions.
Self-hosted dos protection does not make sense on small scale. Reach out to vox and path and negotiate a deal that works for you. Consider not sending all your traffic: Route only the /24 under attack.
Datapacket/Datacamp/CDN77. Handles up to 2tbit attacks. They have 80tbps network.
Has mitigated for us attacks in that range of 80-100Gbit just fine. No affect. Not sure about higher Volumes. Didnt had bigger attacks yet.
Ask them for Advanced Shield with support. On IP-transit we pay additional +230€ monthly for the custom setup of their "Shield" . Not sure how much it is for dedicated servers though
By default they include their Advanced Shield but then you can't setup custom rules and don't get Support from their anti ddos engineers
+1 for path, we use them and they are absolutely fantastic.
