    Amsterdam Storage - New motherboard arrived, and it looks like it solved the problem. Just have to set this one up again, I moved some drives around and it has to be reconfigured. Other than that, looks good to go. (It also has the beefy heatsink now.)

    Guidelines were posted a while ago, but since they're lost in all the whole bunch of posts, let's remember them:

    • Order a VPS in any of the other locations. It is important to not select any location marked as Instant, such as Seattle and San Jose at the time of this comment.
    • Comment your order ID in here, asking for your VPS to be moved to Tokyo.
    • If you opened a ticket prior to this, close it. It must be an order ID.

    VirMach will then consider it.

    Japan Update initial batch now has published delivery date of Thursday, March 24th. We've instructed the datacenter partner to set this up as soon as possible when received and customs cleared.

    I don't suspect these will be out of stock but I'll make a deal with you. Should there be infinite demand, we'll re-invest any of the proceeds from that specific 8GB plan to allocate additional servers and colocation space to ensure it will not go out of stock. So worst case scenario, the only difference is that you just have to wait an extra 1 week for us to order more parts (I'm not saying this will happen, because it probably won't as I do not expect that many plans sold, but it's to assure you that you will get it as long as you're around within a few days after it is posted.)

    How can I explain that I can successfully receive the ticket email, why would I ask for help if I didn't forget to press the save button to save the generated strong password? If somehow Japan processes customs by Friday and our brokerage is available to complete the process should that be required, and the datacenter decides to set it up that day, and nothing goes wrong, and we can configure networking and a server that same day as well, then yes.

    thanks for the assurance <3 I'm looking for a good Ryzen VPS to be my dev server, and your 8GB plan fits really well.

    Would be really great if it has 4 core. I need to burst for several minutes at a time for interactive use cases (eg, compiling code). But 3 should be fine too.

    Los Angeles Storage Update - This has been ready for a very long time. I went ahead and modified some of it today, adding NVMe RAID controller, changing heatsink, and put the rails back on. The OS needs to be re-installed and one RAM stick is having issues, everything else looks good. Hard drives and RAID controller appear to function as they did before, it boots, etc.

    This is going to be shipped out with a good number of servers, I'm shooting for Thursday. Since it's in the same city it should arrive by Friday if I can make the shipment Thursday.
