@dustinc Happy Neujahr! Would you please double the bandwidth for my server (Order Number: 4299129102)? Thank you!

Hi @FredricWolfgang -- Happy New Year! This particular order was placed from an older promotion that isn't eligible for double bandwidth, though if you share a more recent order number (or take advantage of one of our New Year deals) - we'll be happy to take care of it for you 👊

    what's cheaper? get a 600W psu
    OR
use my 450W(600W peak) one (500W required)
and power my GPU from 12V psu? i would need to buy one tho, making cables is easy part

Using multiple PSUs sounds like something I would do.

I've used a secondary PSU to power HDDs in some underpowered NAS builds lol

  • @BarkingIron said: Did you get an email or something?

No, it was just a pleasant surprise. I had asked support for IPv6 and they said they would need to move me to a new node. They said they expected moving everybody off the old SSD-cached nodes by the end of the year anyway so would I have any objections to moving now. Of course I said no problem. :)

Yep, If the Multacom IPv6 network is reasonable I will not be renewing my HostHatch Los Angeles 8GB next time around.

I'd shit a brick if there was a physical server giveaway. :D

same, or enterprise grade SSD's or whatever, im sure they have stuff that goes on ebay or somewhere
i mean as i said, i could use 12tb HDD drives if someone has them laying arround (even 4tb, they arent cheap)

Would like to see Chef bring back that New Years flash deal with 3core, 4GB RAM, 50GB SSD, 4TB BW for $20.22/yr ($18.88/yr + ~7% inflation)

EDIT: Adjusted new price to be 2022 compatible.

Wow, thats one hell of a bump in disk speed. Score

On an unrelated note, that DDR2 should be here by the end of the week already.

That old rig I got will be up in no time.

already bought a 4gb one on BF, great deal but is kinda idling... gotta wait for that sweet sweet Europe capacity

same, or enterprise grade SSD's or whatever, im sure they have stuff that goes on ebay or somewhere
i mean as i said, i could use 12tb HDD drives if someone has them laying arround (even 4tb, they arent cheap)

I feel like this would be pretty rich for a basic LET giveaway but maybe a big one like the one at the start of the thread or something.

not to mind it wouldt be fair... he would need todo few of them so it's fair... but then shit's expensive, im glad what we got tbh, even tho i don't agree with "more messages = better prizes" but again, i won bunch of stuff on BF, can't complain, servers are good, price is really really good, support is fast and not retarded, he aint scammin, cant complain at all

    Thanked by 1FrankZ

That's great. With the 8GB of RAM and that quad core it should be able to do quite a few things. I hope it it works out really well for you. :)
