ssdnodes - any reviews?
I'm just wondering if anyone here has any experience with SSDNodes or could share some benchmarks as to what to expect from this provider?
I'm interested in the "Performance" VPS plans, it looks like you get a lot for your money and you know what they say, if something looks to good to be true....

Do not expect much.
Indeed, and its very true in this case. Definitely avoid like the plague.
Avoid, can check this thread - https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/172597/ssdnodes-86-yr-for-8vcpu-32gb-ram
Run.
No you don't.
RAM has around 5GB/s limit (basically NVMe SSD speeds)
They flush your cache/ram if you go above some GB (4GB IRRC) "ram" usage for longer period of time even if you have "32GB" plan.
They are using balooning to oversell RAM and terminate your service if you disable balooning.
So basically only values showed on their page look great, they perform way worse than numbers in specs suggests.
I had server there for 1 day and it was enough to cancel. Good thing is that they refund you without making problems... but only for your first order. On next orders they only allow refunding to account balance and you can just buy VPS again with it.
I've had a machine running there for 6 months. I went in expecting little given how oversold it has to be, but honestly, it hasn't been too bad. I've been using 12-14GB of RAM for months and haven't had any forced reboots or downtime.
