Or, I could "hibernate" it for some time?
I dont want it is accessible in some hours, but I cannot use the systemctl hibernate and wake-on-lan approach I use on my local networks...

You can shutdown via control panel

I need to script it in someway, or from another controlling machine, or from inside the vps if it is possible to set a stop and start (but the first way is preferred because I can also manage restart on demand, from outside the vps and without passing to the SolusVM)
Racknerd use solusvm and solusvm has an api so you should be able to do this.
Log into your control panel and you'll see an api tab.

In this case, is it racknerd infrastructure that intercept the calling to MY_VPS_IP (of, course, I have not an https server anserwing to the curl...) or I'm mistaking something? I think I have to use a different ip:port... and the command should be

Replace the VPS IP with the URL of racknerds solusvm.

well, this is the teted and right command:

Or, you know, just leave the server up and just stop the service you want off and then turn it back on when you want. Powering off from the panel is usually last resort when not running from an embedded Linux that uses a read only filesystem intended for random power offs.
In other words, I think you'll occasionally trigger long file checks on boot doing it your way.
At the very least, power off over SSH and confirm off with API. Turn it back on with API call.
I would suggest to delete VPS and find new provider, cheers.

The VPS will delete itself after a while.
