    I skipped a lot of classes, and even skipped the final exams.
    As a result, I had to take the same course next year.

    I intentionally skipped the final exam of a class.

    Due to the way scores are calculated, I would receive an A without taking the final exam.
    If I take the final exam and mess up, I could receive a lower grade.

    Interesting grade system. I not only skipped the final exam, but also almost all classes.

    About five years ago I also skipped final exams of courses, because passing final exams only grants 2 extra credit while participating courses already granted 5 credits.
