    When I ordered an earlier deal at Obhost, the promocode was accepted and the reduced price displayed - I clicked order, and then the rebate was removed by the system and the full amount was invoiced without warning.

    Yeah, it was the same for me. The price shown when I checked out was the flash sale price, but the invoice emailed charged the non-flash price.
