Looking for VPS for file storage
Hi,
I'm looking for VPS, mainly for file hosting.
(All files in the server will be 100% legal, no movie or video or torrent will be hosted, each file is around 50mb or less, user are not able to upload file)
Requirement :
Storage space : 50GB or 100GB+
Bandwidth : around 500GB per month or more
Location : any location will do
Ram: 128mb or more

Can a file hosting site (Not sure how do I call this, but it's only for user to download not upload) be hosted on backupsy? I did some search before I posted this, but I saw you said it's not allowed.

Did the 525GB one go bust? Or still waiting on Internap?
It can't go bust if it hasn't started. It's was a scheduled plan. There are still a few things to be worked out with them. Cogent isn't slow. I wish people would stop bashing them. Try the other carriers like Internap. Takes days to even announce something.
You won't find any Cogent hate from me, while they may not have the best network ever, their support has been nothing but helpful to me. I personally wouldn't mind if you launched with Cogent only, I just preferred that you had Internap setup too. I wasn't really trying to call you out or anything, just wondered what was happening. I also haven't had the apparent pleasure of working with Internap directly, seems I may not want to though.

At this time we don't offer Storage in LA, however we may be expanding there soon.
