We have multiple of these machines in stock.
Due to the stock being low though, we are limiting it to 1 per person.

Thought of used thin clients? Can be PXE booted (for rescue/recovery), and use under 20W of power while running (usually 11W). Just throw in an SSD/HDD, and you're set. They are a bit weak, I will admit, but are they good? Yeah, depending on your use case.

If you factor in the costs, and all, it can all be done for under $30/thin client unit. Gigabit is also possible with many thin clients (stick to HP and Dell). You can also solder up some wires to a relay and write a small CGI script (python, etc) to reboot them without the need for an expensive switched PDU; hook them up to a cheap high-amp PSU.

Rent them out at $10-15/month, and you will have ROI in just 1-3 months.

I have looked into thin clients before, and there are other options in my opinion which are better. We even purchased some to test. Anything under $200/device to purchase (used pricing) just didn't have the performance or drive space I wanted. Like I said I have looked into options. My team and I feel we have sorted a good idea for cheap dedicated. At this time its not an option for us to do but I would love to make it a project for 2022 at some point.

In the meantime, this E3 offer I believe is a good price for the money. Please stay tuned with my posts as I hope in 2022 we can offer this!

Thanks for taking the time to go over the thin client idea though.

    Carrier-1
https://www.carrier-1.com/photo-gallery#video and we do offer colocation (when we have stock). Feel free to message we can see how we can help.

Correct, Incero didn't own the datacenter, they used Carrier-1 and now Hivelocity leases their private cage from within Carrier-1.

However, the promotional code and its still working.

you have to go to the cart for it to be auto-applied.
