  • Could we have a sub-section for free VPS transfers? If I have some that are <$10/year that I no longer need, I usually just transfer them for free.

    Thanked by 1TqR
  • +1 Good to have a new category here to focus mainly on that, not just for transfer from ownership but also for those who want to take over

I think it can be done in the same category.

Just need to mention that it'll be a free transfer and also have that covered in the rules.

I'm letting those cancel. Too much hassle for me and the provider.

Allowing scalpers to profit from this (even with limits) will only bring trouble.

This problem is already happening in other forums and I do not see the need to bring it here.

In my opinion, the limit should be the real cost of the service, nothing more than that.

Edit: I already see someone asking 2x the yearly price for a service expiring next week where the provider is not making any profit. This is not right in my mind.

    ☝️

How about making the limit 2x the recurring price prorated to the remaining time instead?

Is it only for service transfer or also sex service transfer?

This is why we can't have nice things.

Is this for transferring domains after a sale as well, or do domains stay where they're at?

    Policy question:
Is it permissable to post a service transfer in auction style, or does it have to be fixed-priced listing only?
In an auction, MAX($10, 2x per-term price) would be set as BIN, which ensures the final price cannot exceed the maximum limit.

  • 3.have at least 25 non-spammy posts to post a service transfer.

I am not agreed to this line. Some user staying here for few years but dont have that much post but have a service to transfer without profit or little bit profit.

You don't have to agree, you just have to obey.

Then just work on the post count requirement.

    It’s not that difficult.

I saw many popular user here dont have 25post yet. It can happen to anyone who is trusted enough here.

How are they a “popular user here” when they’re not active and don’t even have 25 posts?
