Just use HestiaCP. Vesta has lost trust after security fiasco.
Yes, there was some kind of update, but I would wait for feedback and a check for bugs.

I saw someone post about this in the forum, but I didn’t find any release notes. Latest Github release is like 2 years old.
VestaCP still gets contribution from the main dev and other contributors. HestiaCP devs occasionally contributes to their upstream. Just there isn't any official release/tag.

If you are not going to look like _____ (fill in the blanks the way you like) suggest similar kind of product. These two are different and have different use cases.
Could always build a CLI panel instead, and just do it all with a lot of bash aliases/scripting. Would be better to use an RPC server or the like, though, for security reasons.
