providers: how to actually make money outside of LET
step 1) figure out a lead magnet & figure out who to advertise it to.
i.e. make an ad targeting users who like VPN companies on Facebook.
example copy of said ad:
"Did you know you could actually run your own anonymous VPN?
For much cheaper than you'd buy from the likes of NordVPN, PIA, and X companies?
Not only that -- but you could control your own data.
I've got a stupid simple PDF/Video/Whatever that shows you exactly how.
The only catch?
You just gotta enter you email on the page here:
link"
step 2) create a minimal squeeze page.
"How to create your own VPN WITHOUT giving your privacy away, for less than you spend now."
with an opt-in form, many options such as Sendy, etc.
step 3) put together a lead magnet containing X information.
you'll want to make the lead magnet valuable, but with a call to action or a special deal to entice them to act now.
in this example, it'd obviously be about creating a VPN on your VPS service.
specifically:
provide value, but build a lead magnet around your brand, and make the call to action relevant to your lead magnet.
step 4) continue advertising via email for about 24-48 hours and close down the offer.
step 5) continue sending them relevant valuable information with soft pitches afterwards.
step 6) profit???
you have an actual business instead of a forum profile???

what about this thread remotely represented defamation and false advertisement
good products are worthless if you dont get attention on them
this is dumb as fuck
You can see lot of videos on youtube doing absolutely the same strategy with another words ( ads)
I think the biggest issue might be the wave of support requests for setting up and using the VPNs.

Well, I laughed out loud that you say you can run your own VPN cheaper than buying from an established VPN. I mean, the last deal I saw was $18 and change for 15 logins, a password manager and 2TB cloud space, for a year. The last deals I bought were lifetime and 5 years all with 5-10 logins. All these companies have hundreds of servers across dozens of countries and to some degree, some Netflix workarounds and shit.
@SirFoxy
Are you currently full-time employed by someone not related to you?
You can definitely run a VPN for cheaper. It just doesn't have those things. Of course you can't provide the same features for cheaper.
I think some people want a single location VPS that's actually fast without any of the Netflix shenanigans.
Then they'd setup their own VPN.
I've been employed by myself for the past 4 years.
No.
You're a cynical social dumbass, you're smart but have zero social skills and zero ability to sell.
Nothing I said here is false advertising. A standard NordVPN package, which is the most mainstream VPN ever starts at $59 a year.
You'd need to sell a 512mb VPS for less than $59 a year.
Fuck off.
And again: it was a fucking example there's 100 other ways to apply what I posted here in different angles.
that's crazy.
i was the first guy to copy @deank avatar, i turned a personality into a movement and changed my shit cause i realized it was cringey as fuck.
