Affordable 1Gbps unmetered dedicated server providers?

By affordable , I mean it's similar to OVH or Hetzner price in the same locations.

I only know 2 providers:
Hetzner
OVH

Are there any other providers?

You are pretty much already at the bottom of what's called the bottom barrel.

Going below that threshold is generally what we call - the recipe for disaster.

  • A million dollars can be affordable. I can suggest Poolance hosting.

I don't think Hetzner is unmetered?

    WorldStream (50 TB traffic)
    WholeSaleInternet (200 TB traffic)
Scaleway (when they're not out of stock)
    PulseHeberg (French provider)

I never really saw anything good for pricing close to Hetzner. But tbh, their network is a bit better, so might be worth the money.

    Other providers:

    Terrahost (specially with discounts)
    Pulsed media maybe ?

traffic is still expensive. so it really depends on what you want to do and what you think is "affordable". we might offer a 1G flat for few euros... but what do you expect?

    Define affordable.

Clouvider has some great unmetered offers and specials from time to time.

We offer a shared unmetered plan with all of ours, in Houston, TX... We also do ded 1g unmetered for +99/mo on top of any server. The shared option works great for 95% of our clients as long as you dont max out a 1g port sustained.

  • Check out worldstream.com - every server comes with 50TB bandwidth on a gig port and you can upgrade to unmetered for just 70 euro if you truly need that.

    Hetzner Cloud isn't, its 20TB @ 10Gbit.
Their dedicated servers, on the other hand, are indeed unlimited gigabit bandwidth.
Iirc you can upgrade to 10Gbit, tho then you are limited to 20TB + 1EUR per extra TB transfered, just like the cloud.

  • OVH & Hetzner are you two biggest unmetered Dedicated server provider. Most people who are looking for 'unmetered bandwidth' don't even need as much bandwidth as one would think. Most users are fine with 30-50 TB of bandwidth per month, and unless you want to pay a premium for unmetered, you generally won't see it. Also, hosts with high-quality DDoS Protection, must pay loads for bandwidth that they use from absorbing DDoS attacks. Long spiel done, but ask yourself, do you really need unlimited bandwidth?
