Looking To Acquire VPS, CPanel Shared, & Dedicated Server Companies

SmartHost LLC is looking to grow with company/client acquisitions.
We are actively looking to expand and are interested in your hosting customers!
We are seeking acquisitions in the $500-$10,000/month revenue range.
We are a US company with cash on hand, and ready to close deals fast.

We will offer a great home for your clients, by providing great customer support. We consider options to retain existing infrastructure or a full migration with very little client impact/downtime. Every acquisition is unique, and we understand the nuances. Our team treats all new acquisitions as new opportunities, and a chance to fold new clientele into our hosting family. We use a professional approach to make sure your hard work isn't wasted. We're passionate about hosting and we love what we do. We're not owned by any large parent company, and we will love your clients as much as we love the clients we have also worked hard to acquire.

Our preferred acquisitions are for VPS (Linux & Windows), CPanel Shared/Virtual hosting services, and Dedicated Server providers.
Support must be provided in English, in business atleast 2 years, and no more than 20% annual billed accounts.
Business does not have to be profitable, but should atleast have realistic offerings (not "unlimited" resources for $1/year).

We are looking for small-to-medium size hosts, who are looking to exit the business, or unable to properly/continue supporting their clients, or are running out of capital and unable to operate/grow the business further.

    Ah, it could be.

The accounts have been switched and @key900 no longer has the Provider tag.

Probably decided to focus on his new born 😊

That account has like 2 posts.
https://www.lowendtalk.com/profile/letbox there was dedicated account iirc and still has provider tag.

However the paypal address change is a dead giveaway that it was sold.
No message to current clients o.O?

If/when we acquire companies, we typically do not make drastic client-affecting changes.
We always honor existing prices, plans, etc...to the acquire client base.
We always try to retain existing IPs as well, so clients do not have to change.
Sometimes we merge billing systems and/or brands, sometimes we don't...usually depends on the size of the acquisition and acquired brand.
At most we implement our polices/procedures/methods and roll services on to our own platforms and/or equipment/space.
Then we usually add new locations and services/offerings into the mix for the acquired brand.

So basically, nothing to worry about with us acquiring anything..at most a minor hiccup as things absorbed/integrated, with minimal pain to the client base. ;-)

This is how SmartHost can have more locations than most others.

unable to properly/continue supporting their clients

    PremiumBytes has fulfilled this criteria.
    Lowball them:

I see you added new plans in Letbox, it has better disk size than the one in Smarthost.net.
In Letbox the default disk is 20GB NVMe while in Smarthost.net its 10GB. Price diff on is only $0.05

I like the 20GB NVMe default disk size on Letbox, that is if it is correct.

  • Letbox.com sold?

  • @SmartHost

I also tried to configure this in Letbox

    AMD Ryzen 3900X
    8 CPU cores
    16GB Dedicated RAM
    20GB NVMe
    5TB/Month

    Price: $24.5/mo

I tried in Smarthost.net and this is what I get

    AMD Ryzen
    8 CPU cores
    16GB Dedicated RAM
    20GB NVMe
    1TB/Month

    Price: $45.95/mo

    @SmartHost you bought Letbox???

  • @cazrz said: I like the 20GB NVMe default disk size on Letbox, that is if it is correct.

Are you sure that wasn't always the case at letbox? All three of my boxes have 20G disks in them and I've had them for years.

The old/original plans from letbox has 20GB disk.

I'm referring to the new VPS plans in letbox, the one coming from Smarthost.net
It has a bunch of regions available.

    This one
    https://my.letbox.com/index.php?rp=/store/vps

In Smarthost.net it is 10GB disk by default.
