Terrible Kimsufi service/UI

arhuearhue Member

Is it just me, or Kimsufi has terrible service?

I wanted to install Proxmox with ZFS on root and they didn't have the option in the templates. So I used recovery mode to install the OS in Qemu by passthroughing the disks. Reboot and it wouldn't work so I decided to install with default Proxmox template from the webUI. After that it got stuck in recovery mode and I can't get it to boot off HDD as their UI is non-responsive.

Tried opening support request, but no reply so far. Has anyone else faced this issue and are there workarounds?

Reply to tickets on KS is indeed veeeery slow, but when there is a hardware failure or, as in this case, the installation is stuck, this is normally detected automatically (you will receive an automated email of this) and fixed automatically within a few hours (or even shorter)

Well the recovery mode works, and I can reboot. Just not into the main installation. Looks like an issue with their UI. Or maybe I managed to break it, like with a lot of services that I try :#
