Subdomain propagation

hello,
My client gave me his cpanel hosting purchased from ResellerClub to upload his site. I created one subdomain, but after 48hrs of waiting, it's still not propagated. I have checked the DNS records, and I am sure everything is setup correctly; according to google, it may take 72hrs.
My question is why it is taking that much time to propagate a simple subdomain. I have several hosting accounts from LET providers, but none takes more than a minute to propagate the subdomain. What's the difference?

    you said you checked the DNS records... how and where from?

    whos nameservers is the domain using?

    What Is DNS Propagation

    If your IP address is similar to the street address used to find your house, what happens if you change your home address? What is the domain name server with the new IP address? Well, this is where DNS propagation gain relevance. In simple terms, DNS propagation is the time it takes for any changes made in the name server to come into effect.

    When you change the nameservers for your domain or change the hosting provider, the ISP nodes across the world may take up to 72 hours to update their caches with the new DNS information of your domain. However, the time required to ensure a complete update of records across all nodes may differ.

    New information about the nameservers will not be propagated immediately, and some of your users may still be redirected to your old website. Each ISP node saves the cache to speed up the loading time, and you will have no other option but to wait until all the nodes are updated.

    You can bypass or minimize the DNS propagation by pointing your domain to the destination IP address using “A Record” on the side of the current DNS provider, setting the minimal TTL. After updating the “A Record” you can wait for an hour and then change the nameservers of your domain. This will ensure that your website will not have any downtime as both hosts will show the same new website.

    If speed of propagation is important to you you may want to move the DNS to somewhere like CloudFlare or some other 3rd party DNS provider.

    Note that there can be a significant delay if you change the IP address for an already existing subdomain (due to caching) vs creating a new subdomain.

    Did the domain dns server pointing towards the cpanel server..? If it is not,then probably you also need to create the subdomain at the place where the domain ns being pointed...eg:domain registrar dns mgmt...

    Is your main domain working?
    If yes then clear your browser cache or try from a different device

    yes main domain working (site is working since 2 yrs)
    cleared the cache, checked on dnschecker it shows not propagated.

    12 hrs to go for 72 hrs, lets see. Never faced such issue with any host before.

    I suspect something is wrong.

    If the subdomain is new (and not an IP change) it really should propagate relatively quickly.

    Check the DNS with some 3rd party tool like:
    https://mxtoolbox.com/DNSCheck.aspx
    https://intodns.com/
    https://digdns.com/

    Review Shamli's question above:

    Is the nameserver at the domain name registrar pointing to the DNS server (the ResellerClub one) where you added the subdomain?

    Have you tried using different computer...?
    Perhaps a simple restart could resolve your issue....

    @Shamli you were right. the client was using GoDaddy's default nameservers. Issue resolved
