Is there memorable IPv6 address?

I often use 2600:: to test IPv6 connectivity, and I remember Google DNS was 2460:4860:4860::8888

Of course, most IP addresses are not easy to remember, so what are the best IPv6 addresses to remember?

    I just mirror my IPv4 address in the V6.

    Ex: If my IPv4 address was 23.184.48.XXX

    Then I may make my IPv6 for the same server/service: 2602:fc24:059a:3051:23:184:48:XXX

    Just makes it easier to identify things.

    Otherwise it's dead boobs, beef cafe and babe(s).

    You can even mix stuff to get a bit of obfuscation (sort of).

    2602:fc24:059a:3051::23.184.48.xxx

    which is equivalent to

    2602:fc24:59a:3051::17b8:30yy

    Obtain your own IPv6 prefix from your local RIR/LIR and use it on all your networks and devices.
    Sooner or later you will remember it. ;)

    For a single VPS with no containers or nested VMs on it, I usually just use ::1 of whatever /64 range the provider gives me.

    Interestingly I was so close to buying that domain back when I bought d.sb... Glad to see someone (@xTom I guess) did something useful with it. I ended up getting dns.tg as renewal is cheaper.

    It is one of the greatest excuses to avoid ipv6 - poor readability. And also,there is no ROI in ipv6.

    Not IPv6 but one of my servers used to have the IP 66.79.179.179 and I still miss that sometimes. I can't remember exactly which host that was (maybe DedicatedBox.net?) but they used the DCS data center in San Jose which I don't think even exists any more.

    Honestly, I'm more off a b00b person but I end up with a55 at times. Normally I just assign my own prefixes to my VPSs so I've ended up remembering the subnet, trying to SSH into a server gones something like:

    Tries ::3 nope wrong one
    Tries ::5 yep got it

    The best way to remember is to just use an FQDN if possible lol, if that's not an option, much easier to ping6 srv2.dummy.net. :)
