  • 500 GB looks too low at that price, specially when you are on LET and other providers provide more bandwidth at that price range.

They have local representative offices in India and other countries. There a different things. Cannot mix it with Business registration in other countries. Do Microsoft or Google have registered their company in India? You just misunderstand some things.

You once again show poor understanding of how business operates. There is a concept called Legal Entity. One legal entity can be a subsidiary of another (whole or partly owned).
Below is the list of entities, NOT representative offices of Google, a Delaware Corporation and Microsoft. Google, Amazon, Microsoft operate under independent Registered companies in most countries around the world. Equinix has atleast three registered companies- incorporated in Hong Kong, Europe and the US. Now you can go back and stick your head in your ass again. You seem to be good at that.

    ——-

Microsoft Corporation (india) Pvt Ltd is a Private incorporated on 22 July 1988. It is classified as Non-govt company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Delhi.

You can write to the email mentioned below to verify. Or since your faux Oxford English is hard to understand for Indian ambassadors, maybe write to Benjamin Owen Orndorff, Keith Ranger Dolliver. I am sure you can figure out their emails.

Microsoft Corporation (india) Pvt Ltd's Corporate Identification Number is (CIN) U74899DL1988PTC032549 and its registration number is 32549.Its Email address is [email protected] and its registered address is 807, New Delhi House Barakhamba Road New Delhi Central Delhi DL 110001 IN , - , .

Current status of Microsoft Corporation (india) Pvt Ltd is - Active.

p.s: Most listed US Tech companies avoided paying taxes in other countries- revenue from facebook, google ads for e.g. That is the genesis for the global tax regime.

We pay it to IRS of course, we are liable to pay annual taxes and also taxes arising from sales within the USA.

As for why, there are some tax implications that make it difficult for Indian companies to do business with the USA clients and also we do have issues with popular payment gateways restricting themselves to developed countries.

The actually concern should be : are some hosts avoiding paying taxes in their home countries by operating in other countries? Maybe a few are?

    Anyways,
Why do shipping companies mostly register in Liberia?
    Or
    Investment businesses in Cayman Islands?

Enabling ecosystems, marketing and customer perception. Besides the legalese. Actually filing of taxes and financial reporting have to be done in every jurisdiction where a company is legally incorporated.

Back to the first question I asked: is a LE hosting business trying to avoid paying taxes in their home country by incorporating abroad? Answer is most of them are not. Here’s why:

Different countries follow different financial cycles for annual reporting.

    January-December
    April-March
    July-June
    September-August etc

Typically the company has to do dual reporting: compliance filing in the country where they are incorporated, as well as the country where parent compa is registered.

In some cases it also involves dual taxation- if the income of the subsidiary is added to income of the parent. And if countries in question do not have a tax treaty.

Add to that exchange rate, payment processor fees, liability insurance, accounting and legal fees and it’s a big question whether it is even worth it for small businesses. Forgot to add travel to each country office (because some non customers demand it, office space, establishment costs…)

Tax rates around the world: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_tax_rates

As a side note: rates for the oldest profession
