    OpenVZ7 right? Why not LXC?

Main reason for ditching lxc was lack of automatic provisioning possibility (on our side) and docker support.
    OVZ 7 supports both & also tun/tap/fuse/ipgre etc. :)

    Hello,

You'd get double the original resources mentioned on this plan page https://my.webhorizon.in/order/main/packages/ovz/?group_id=50

The lowest plan (IPv6 only $7) will get 1 extra IPv4 in addition to the ipv6

  • Custom iso or ubuntu 18.04 possible?

  • My order # is 615e513196c96. Post here and get double resources, right? And I require a extra IPv4 for connection. THX

KVM has seperate kernel, OVZ/LXC both share kernel of host. They're similar, but most providers go with LXC nowadays, that's why I asked him why he chose OVZ over LXC in new service. Simple question without any prejudice, he gave my answer, now I know that he has some arguments behind it.
Now you mention different provider which is on other side of globe, making comparisons of KVM to LXC... What's your problem?

We can't overcommit RAM on KVM and it also requires extra work to get the ISO installed.

If that would be 1GB of RAM I would buy just to idle!
But 7$ per year, IPv4, 2 cores? That is a fucking steal.

pretty much this, I've seen earlier too with another client using Orange.

Orange PL is pushing local PL traffic through Frankfurt

  • @Andrews said: that is not a Webhorizon fault but rather your ISP, as Orange PL is pushing local PL traffic through Frankfurt

Never said that, I know how Orange works and there is a reason they are cheap by being cheap :) Did just not expect 70 ms. That is like almost USA times ;)

you will have similar results with Hosthatch WAW

Hosthatch seems a little better (aka m247, ~47 ms). However no idea wtf, this seems going Frankfurt -> Warsaw -> UK -> Hosthatch (Warsaw).

I have the 1GB KVM in Warsaw for $15/year, but only 1 core.
I'm thinking to cancel that and get this $7, then I see the crummy 10GB storage.
Docker images are getting larger you know …

I'm getting IPv6 unreachable alerts every week, for 5~30 minutes each time.
UptimeRobot can reach Oracle Cloud IPv6 just fine, although this doesn't rule out UptimeRobot problem.
Anyone else facing the same issue?
