I mean, DDR3 ECC RAM isn't too expensive nowadays, I'd imagine. I would offer non-ECC DDR3 RAM for a cheaper price (setup fees), or more ECC RAM (setup fees), honestly. 8GB of RAM is pointless for a dedi.
It depends of the dedi's purpose.
However, if it doesn't suit you, feel free to ignore it.

This happens quite a lot lately.
I belive it is something to do with whmcs's licensing API.
Now shows invalid, in few hrs fixes itself, then again invalid...
Feel free to report it to whmcs, maybe they will listen to you.. Hahah
