The ISO can't be bigger than your memory.
    Did you boot rescue x64?

    Yes, I boot rescue x64
Yes, ISO is 4.8 while my memory is 8GB

This is the full error from qemu

qemu-system-x86_64: cannot set up guest memory 'pc.ram': Cannot allocate memory
    Aborted

EDIT: Nevermind I installed the joodle templates of windows 12 and saved this hassle

    My Kimsufi is 8GB ram.

You're setting the qemu virtual memory size to 10GB. You have 8GB RAM minus the Windows ISO residing in tmpfs.

I get an error saying "cannot allocate memory".

    Go figure.

  • basically try "-m 2000M"

  • sorry for bumping but since i'm following this tutorial, has anyone managed to install server 2025 evaluation on ovh cause mine is boot looping when I boot from CD. I tried older versions and it works fine so it's just server 2025 that it doesn't boot properly
