No, even worse. It's "have to pay for free testing" (without any personal usage).

Wait until you find out how much people paid for a promise of future services, in the form of credit matches.

Is there anyone that made full use of their credit top ups around here? I'm hoping at least some? Maybe the earliest takers of it?

Long time ago I not updated my own 'story' / experience. So I decided to do it now (I hope, there is enough "space" for it too).

    • My VPS (it's not a storage VM) went offline (14/05/2021).
    • I not received renewal invoice before my VPS expiration time. My VM expiration time was: 17/05/2021.
    • I opened a ticket (15/05/2021), to get help about the unreachable (offline) VPS, and informed them about the missing invoice.
    • In 04/06/2021 received the invoice. After some minute my invoice has been updated with extra 'late fee' (+2EUR).
    • I not received any reply to my ticket, since I opened it (I updated my original ticket two times). And my VM is still offline.

    Update:

    • In 18/07/2021 my original ticket has been disappeared. (It's not closed, it has been removed). I created a new one, and attached a screenshot from my full old ticket into the new.
    • Later (I have no exact time) the not working service has been disappeared from my account, but the 'unpaid' invoice not. I got an account credit. (It was 'funny', because I was able to pay the invoice for the non-exist service from an account credit - of course, I not paid it).
    • Yesterday (06/08/2021) I checked my account: the unpaid invoice (for the not working and removed service) has been cancelled. I'm not able to replace/recreate my old and removed service from my 'account credit' because in their store not available any same specification and priced package. (and I will not 'top up' my account with the missing credits for understandable reason, I think). (If I'm not wrong, previously they promised, the users will be able to recreate the service from the account credit for the same fee?). My ticket still unanswered since the story beginning.

    End of (my) story.

  • LESLES Member

I reviewed it now and my service disappeared and was refunded.
The rebuild request ticket from 23/06/2021 is still open.
    What a shit show :D

@Pixels said: HS deadpool or not yet? Did anyone get a working VM in Oradea with the "free" credits?

I have one that was created last week, using a credit from the involucration. But I can't tell for sure where it's physically located. It's in one of the 188 /24s announced by AS44220. An inbound traceroute traverses the Telia demarc for RCSRDS, a Romanian provider, but the first non-RFC1918 hop on an outbound traceroute is HE in London. Between the opaque internal routing and asymmetric routes in/out, it's hard to determine where the hardware is.

    Thanks for the link!

Sure is Oradea, despite ordering Norway. Also found their DNS is completely involucrated, which further screwed the network. I found SSH in worked better once I fixed DNS.

edit: I take that back re: ssh, it's terrible even with non-borked DNS

Interesting. I have ordered in Oradea at the end of last month but didn't get it yet. I will benchmark if I get it.

    Correction:
It looks wrong from what I wrote above so I clarify: I got the IP and the server details immeduiately but it is not connecting, resource usage is 0, I can reinstall, etc, but status is unchanged.

I wanted to, but wasn't able to as the transaction had taken place outside of the eligible charge back time period.

Is it PayPal or credit card? In my case (the latter) they still processed the chargeback request even after the transaction had surpassed the time period for a long time. I am still waiting for the result.

Just saying, that it is worth a try.

It was Paypal, and I tried and they said it was out of their 180 day chargeback period, from memory :(

Amex / PayPal automatically closed the dispute if raised over 180 days

I still have my NVMe VPS. IP was changed around July 21th after being involucrated for 9 days. It was also moved to Oradea. Initially it was really bad.
