@Clouvider and @Zare is where its at.
We use CWCS in Nottingham, they've been fantastic for us.
You could also try UKServers too.
You sure have a lot of questions while being in the running for a tag
Zare is recommended
They do have services in different parts of the country. Not sure the OP is the owner or the staff.
They claim 1Gbits unmetered, but all you get is less than 50mbits.
Yeah, I've seen their offers posted somewhere else.
Whats with the robot?
I got their 3Euro plan, I expected at least 200mbits or more on their 1Gbits(shared) as advertised. All I get is the following speed
Basic System Information:
Processor : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v2 @ 3.00GHz
CPU cores : 2 @ 2992.786 MHz
AES-NI : ✔ Enabled
VM-x/AMD-V : ❌ Disabled
RAM : 1.8 GiB
Swap : 0.0 KiB
Disk : 28.7 GiB
iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed
| | |
Clouvider | London, UK (10G) | 68.6 Mbits/sec | 5.28 Mbits/sec
Online.net | Paris, FR (10G) | 65.2 Mbits/sec | 4.90 Mbits/sec
WorldStream | The Netherlands (10G) | busy | busy
Biznet | Jakarta, Indonesia (1G) | 73.1 Mbits/sec | 3.69 Mbits/sec
Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 67.0 Mbits/sec | 32.4 Mbits/sec
Velocity Online | Tallahassee, FL, US (10G) | 72.5 Mbits/sec | 3.20 Mbits/sec
Clouvider | Los Angeles, CA, US (10G) | 2.17 Mbits/sec | 49.9 Mbits/sec
Iveloz Telecom | Sao Paulo, BR (2G) | busy | 10.3 Mbits/sec
And to complete this speed test takes around 15 minutes. I have paid through PP and requested for a refund with them instantly and they are denying it. I will be giving this VM to some for free if they like to use it for other purposes.
We are in the LDeX2 facility, directly with LDeX. Very happy.
What robot Chief Panda?
EDIT: Oh, it looks like it's stuck in a ditch waving for help
Yeah it freaked me out for a moment
UKServers is good, but I highly doubt they fit into low-end anything category. They're relatively affordable (yet, note that their prices are listed without VAT), but still not quite the price range you expect on the lower end.
Out of interest, do you know of a cheaper provider in the UK?
CWCS still provision on 100Mbps ports by default don't they?
So to avoid trolls, I will describe questions for colocation owners that I'm interested in
There are several questions:
How much does a 1U unit cost you for placement? (power consumption 300-400w / h)
Is the server connected to two power beams?
How much internet is included in 1U? 100MB or 1GB shared?
What is the price of 1-10-40gbit guaranteed speed?
Do you have an announcement of our networks? Is free?
Is there an automatic blackhall?
In the case of DDOS, do you have any solutions?
How much do your remote hands cost?
Is the hardware installation and ILO / IPMI settings free?
Leave your suggestion in this thread or write to the manager https://t.me/pqhosting
Generally speaking:
£49/month - higher than usual because of the power consumption
Yes
1Gb Port with 10TB Bandwidth
Depends on the provider.
Often a paid service.

Depends on the provider.
Free
Yes.
No they provisioned us on 1G ports. I can also get 10G if I wanted.
Trying to avoid trolls but posting on a public forum? Good luck..
Ah okay, that was feedback from another user that went to CWCS very recently and had to pay extra to get a 1Gb port.
