Funny you should ask. We are currently doing a father's day off of 40% off all Openstack Tiers using offer code: "FATHERDAY21". You also get £20 of free credit when you register for one of the cloud service as well as the discounted prices you get for whatever tier you are in.

More details here Cloudxtiny Cloud Tiers check it out!

Funny you should ask. We are currently doing a father's day off of 40% off all Openstack Tiers using offer code: "FATHERDAY21". You also get £30 of free credit when you register for one of the cloud service as well as the discounted prices you get for whatever tier you are in.

More details here Cloudxtiny Cloud Tiers check it out!

Is that free £30 Credit or £20 Credit (on your website link)

Also, links are all 404 when clicking on the sign-up on that page.

Another question is what I get for Cloud-S £7.99 GBP?

Looks like this a just a monthly payment to buy compute & storage power?

    1vCPU 1Gb Ram 10GB HDD 0.0106p x 720 hours = £7.632

Alone would make that cloud thing expensive than your normal VPSes or running monthly it will be with discount?

Apologise I meant £20. Cloud-S gets an 8% monthly discount on all hour rates. So for your example, you will get 61p off. Also each Tier has a defined quota of usable resources.

I'll look into the 404 issue now.

Do I get a monthly discount for running that instance? Looks like no and it would be really expensive in the end.

    61p off

From what? I'm kinda trying to understand/estimate how much it will cost at the end to run a simple cluster of servers.

Really? Why is the YABS above showing 50Mbps each way?

Network speed is capped at 100Mbit for the KVMVPS100 (Up/Down). The Host has a dedicated 1Gb port.

Can you explain what resources usage is possible on the highest cloud tier? It's not very clear on the website.

Hello, yeah sure. You get the follow:

    • up to 20 instances
    • up to 32 vCPUs of total usable Cores
    • up to 50GB of total allocated Memory
    • up to 10TB Storage Volumes (including snapshots)
    • up to 15 Volumes can be created and 6 Snapshot
    • 15% Discount on all resource prices
  • CloudxtnyHostCloudxtnyHost Member, Host Rep
    edited June 2021

Do I get a monthly discount for running that instance? Looks like no and it would be really expensive in the end.

    61p off

From what? I'm kinda trying to understand/estimate how much it will cost at the end to run a simple cluster of servers.

Each Tier gets a quote of resources and discount applied to the total monthly bill. Basically by buy some credit up front, you get a discount recurring discount. the amount you pay monthly is also counts as credit to pay off any outstanding balance each month.

    Hope that helps.

Quote of resource but not resources itself right?

So basically I won't get this resources:
    up to 20 instances
up to 32 vCPUs of total usable Cores
up to 50GB of total allocated Memory
up to 10TB Storage Volumes (including snapshots)
up to 15 Volumes can be created and 6 Snapshot
15% Discount on all resource prices

However, ability to create that amount of resources which will have a hourly pricing right?

I can't understand the reason of charging that monthly amount. Could you please explain?

I know, I could just get that free credit and try out but it still not clear me how your billing pricing works at all.

@alexvolk said: However, ability to create that amount of resources which will have a hourly pricing right?

    Yes that is correct.

@alexvolk said: I can't understand the reason of charging that monthly amount. Could you please explain?

you put up a small amount of credit in other to get a regular discount on all those resources with a max quota set per tier. If all you want is a VPS, the cloud offering isn't for you.
