Maybe because it is getting harder to get IPv4's?
Maybe because the miss you so much that they hide/remove the package, so you would submit a ticket saying hi and asking the question directly?
Only they know why, go and ask them?
Maybe moving on to a different market segment?
A lot of hosts, including us soon, will be moving away from the LEB market and offering solutions to small and medium sized businesses. It is a long shot, but it is worth every single minute of our time.
Although providing budget solutions is a great thing, it is very hard to expand if your profit margins are low.
If they are moving to a different market segment, I wish them all the luck. It is a great venture.

Are you sure that they need your solutions?
Well, it wont be VPS solutions and thats it .. there is more that will come out. For our local market even, they need basics - and we can build from there.
