  • This is actually the best thread to discuss secret deals and easter eggs as it's a legit thread but sinks, so it's only us who knows about this

    Sad afaik there's no eggs yet :( - @VirMach

  • Can virmach.fat32.top view offers of last year?

Actually I guess I'm ok with that, at least the bots in this cult are nice. 😁

    Who the fuck is nice?

  • I thought @imok was a nice monkey-bot, but apparently he's the kind that rips your arm off at the zoo! 🙈

We just wrapped up a ton of migrations and we're catching up to fixing provisioning issues. Unfortunately, we'd have to catch up to tickets before we can even begin thinking about easter egg deals. And there are ... a lot... of tickets. I'm trying to gather them all around so I can mass reply to 500 people telling them not to make a ticket about a certain issue because we're resolving it independently and so on, so once that's done, maybe.

I can imagine this... I think the $1 deal also added tons of overhead in the tickets resolution?

Anyway, one recommendation is to sort it by the date / time the account is created / first service is created. Generally caring about the existing customers are more worth it.

I could help hiding them like last year, just ping me when you have time to sort them out.

  • @VirMach can you hide the eggs in my DMs so I don't have to look too hard?

    Thanked by 3ZA_capetown imok FrankZ
  • For best results, PM me the direct link before posting the eggs.

Just to help out in beta testing, right? ;)

If you get to do it, please don't make it tooooo difficult like last year o:)

how was it last year? I forgot

  • @Unicom said: how was it last year? I forgot

Not specifically for VirMach, but there was a sitewide egg hunt. And IIRC it involved searching for edited posts, finding codes embedded within images, digging DNS records, and things like that.

    ohh. sound like too much.
I only caught Easter eggs from Virmach and it didn't look like a second job. Just speed, luck and attentiveness

  • I should start working. It's late.

  • VirMach and Google are both running out of storage.

All buses are welcome here :)

EDIT: Woke up today wondering if @VirMach will let me migrate/transfer my 384MB Frankfort VM on GERKVM1C to Dallas instead of Amsterdam ?
I think a month of BF/flash sales are starting to affect my dreams.
Maybe it's time to walk away.

  • @TheWizard what country is that?

Indeed it's a local bus from the 3rd most populated city of Turkey, İzmir!..

And the guy in front is like, "no, what!? How can the flash sale end w/o a deadpool deal, or eggs!?!?? It's gonna continue, right, RIGHT!?"

    Thanked by 2imok FrankZ
  • How about we ask VirMach for some hidden flash sales in this thread?

This thread is probably monitored by more people than you may think.

  • Maybe he could give us some eggs then.

Let's test that.... With a view count trend table/graph! Unless there are time limits in Vanilla for when/how many times(?) a post can be edited, I'll try to track the view count changes here with a table...

Don't skew the results with unnecessary refreshes, or redundant posts! Oh wait, where am I, and who am I kidding!??
