Added 5 other providers before the flash sale started... So my tolerance for deals is much higher now, I pretty much have my needs for the year covered!
2c/1.4G/25G/2TB/NJ /$13.84 is my only flash deal so far.
I also add a couple of AMD's from NaranjaTech & AlphaVPS and six larger boxes from HostHatch when I thought Virmach was not going to do anything for BF.
@FrankZ Yeah I picked up the HH new locations bundle, but it won't be ready until the 31st. Reports in the thread are that HH CPU is really good, but I'm hoping VirMach Ryzen will be even better when we get to test it out!
I resisted for this package until it was out of stock, but now, even if I still don't need that, I want it. And so much people ask for a exception I would feel dick to ask. I guess I just gonna wait next years.

@randomq I have been using HH for about three years, they have always been top drawer for Intel CPU. The geekbench4 all run around 2800 per core, geekbench5 at 700. They were just too good for the $$ this year, so I went a little wild with the six big boxes. I also picked up the new location bundle just to get SYD and Madrid for my monitoring locations. I am sure you will be happy with them.
EDIT: The Ryzen are faster cpu then the intel but I wonder what the price will be. I like the cheap dev boxes, they serve a purpose too.
Depends, if they are using consumer grade hardware it could be cheaper. With virtualization and migration, you could have a bunch of dumb cheap nodes and just plan for some of them failing and migrate VMs as needed. But maybe the memory density and manageability pro equipment works better for VirMach. Depends on if they have boots on the ground at the various data centers too.
I would be in for cheap Ryzens. If they are not as reliable I really don't care, because I geo-locate everything with auto fail over to the next closest location. But it may cause a mess for Virmach with this customer base if as you say "they DON'T have boots on the ground at the various data centers".
EDIT: I was curious to know if tourism has returned to your islands yet?
We are packed with US and Canadians, like it's the only place open.
Looks like I will be locked in the house for the next couple of months, again.

@FrankZ Technically Hawaii is open, but you have to get a negative test before flying here, and some islands also want a negative test after arrival or so many days. Otherwise you have to quarantine on arrival for two weeks. Even with all that, tourism is picking back up, but only a fraction of what it was. Many people are still unemployed. Fortunately the side of the "Big Island" I live on is less tourism oriented, so fewer cases and fewer job losses. Many jobs were never here in the first place.

How many here have actually been tested for COVID-19?
Us folks here never really fell ill for the past 9 months or so and haven't been tested yet, but we consider ourselves asymptomatic just for precautions.
Some people at my work caught it, as did some friends on the mainland. I've never had symptoms or traveled, so no test. I still wear a mask around others, keep my distance, and only hang out with friends outdoors and here.
I needed surgery during all of this, and they made me get tested for covid 4-5 times in 2 months. Negative, but I expected them to be, I've been isolating for the most part, couldn't risk it while recovering.
My daughter and one of her co-workers got it in August. They were tested. but not hospitalized. Her father in law, who was a non believer, got it in October and died of it in November. He was 55 and had no other medical issues. There is more I could say about this as my other daughter works as a RN BSN in a hospital ICU, but I'll stop there. 2020 has been a sad year. I miss @uptime

Last time I felt the same was for 2 days in Norway in March. I thought it was Covid.

So today I decided to test those $10.00 USD servers. Those that VirMach claimed like 2 times they can't exists, those with that crazy "no cent, totally on point 10$ price". Those that looks like 'Eggs' and could have better specs after delivery (like 3x RAM or something). Even found one with 128 MB RAM - like how and why on earth would script generate something like that, right @VirMach?
Turns out now I am proud owner of 128 MB RAM/10GB storage/1vCPU VPS in LA for 10$ a year. In 2020 VirMach still selling 128MB of RAM.
