Maxmind has accepted 2 so far, the latest one yesterday. They stated: "The corrected data should appear in next Tuesday's update."
We noticed it still shows US in MaxMind geoip demo, so we now suspect it's the following Tuesday from when they accept it.

We are aware of an outage affecting at least 30 nodes, this includes some of our dedicated server, VPS, and shared / reseller hosting product line - we are working closely with our upstream to restore connectivity, as well as learn the root cause.
My VPS in cloudcone have an outage too.

my.racknerd.com is slow, due to the fact that multiple nodes are having a network related outage (so it's causing our backend to crawl) as it attempts to communicate between the control panel, and the nodes.
This could be true, as we both utilize the same upstream (Multacom) as this appears to be an outage towards a portion of Multacom's network. Rest assure our monitoring has caught the outage, very quick. We are working closely with the upstream, who then escalated to network engineers, and we are also in direct communication with their network engineers.
We sincerely appreciate everyone's understanding and understand the inconvenience caused.

Definitely not a kernel related issue. This is a network issue that has been escalated to the upstream. We're working hard to restore the affected services.
So this is a DC outage, not server. That’s good to known. Did the techs wake you up from a peaceful sleep? Hehe
A portion of the network - not an entire DC outage. This is affecting only a portion of our Los Angeles DC-02 network. We have hundreds of servers here without exaggeration, so many customers and services are online. We do have a good amount, roughly 30 nodes affected by this outage.
As soon as we have more updates, we'll be sure to share. All other locations are not affected.
