We utilize the official CentOS 7 template provided by SolusVM TDN. If for whatever reason your use case is requiring you to not utilize NetworkManager, then you can disable network manager by running the following commands:
Step #1:
Run the below commands to stop and disable NetworkManager:
systemctl stop NetworkManager
systemctl disable NetworkManager
Step #2:
Change to the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts directory.
Open the ifcfg-eth0 and ifcfg-lo files with your preferred text editor and, if they exist, set the following keys’ values:
NM_CONTROLLED=no
ONBOOT=yes
Step #3:
Run the below commands to start the network service:
systemctl enable network.service
systemctl start network.service
