How to link 2 kvm - site-to-site?

Hi all!

I'm sure that for plenty of you, this is a piece of cake :D

2 KVM with ubuntu 20.04
both kvm are VPN servers

My goal it's to both of vpn clients ping on both ways...

can you advise me what is the best way to do it?

    Is it necessary for them to both be servers, I mean, you can do that, but wouldn't 1 be the server the other the client?
