lifetime, are you nuts?
lol
anything "lifetime" is... umm. some might survive only 1 year
well, I see icedrive has 1TB lifetime, but is more than 100 usd.
https://icedrive.net/plans
Koofr lifetime 1TB for $169
pCloud lifetime 2TB for $245
Not true - this is a mantra many say and so long as the company has a suitable underlying business model (which isn't purely lifetime services) then it is possible. Look at ProtonMail and their lifetime offers, both in the start and the ones which go for like $60,000 now (for charity).
Koofr one has 40% off at Stacksocial for Cyber Monday - is about $100. I've been using them and get good speeds - but worries me with their business model.
can you point me the link? thanks.
Yeah, the price is without coupon code
https://stacksocial.com/sales/koofr-cloud-storage-plans-lifetime-subscription-1tb
https://stacksocial.com/sales/polar-backup-lifetime-subscription-5tb
5TB $79.99
Don't do it,...

Fair point, i read that after posting, doesn't look so good after reading that
Just take it. That's exactly what you've been looking for.
With the code
BFSAVE40
You get it for $102
I still prefer google or onedrive even if its subscription based.
Its faster and the commitment level is there, a known company.
I already tried those in stacksocial and its not good. Its a "cold" storage and very slow (upload and download). The time will tell if your files will also be there "lifetime".
Always use hard storage for personal files.
Let's make some definitions first:
1. data size: 1TB
2. period of storage 5 years (60 months)
Where can you try to store your data with budget below 100 usd? ($1.66/mo for 1TB)
Hmmm...
Get a external hdd and call it a day
You can try uptobox too, it's not cloud but they say that keep files as long as account, they have api, and get discount for black friday
Can also vouch for Koofr. Good performance. @vyas11 uses them, too
pay-as-you-go ?
cloud4y.com Archive Storage S3 (under $2/mo/TB) #cold storage
backblaze S3 $5/mo/TB
reserved ?
1fichier Remote/FTP Storage (from €1/mo/TB upto ~€0.82/mo/TB)
Is there anyone here tried cloud4y Archive Storage S3 ?
use koofr with a coupon code.
Are they reliable? I will grab one if they are.
ive been using their free plan for last two years, the speeds are good, you can sync any folder in desktop, and the online koofr website can show you onedrive, gdrive and dropbox, so you can access them in the same dashboard. Moreover, their name has an anagram of 'fookr',
I suppose it is temporary storage?
