    We do not condone affiliates reaching out to members via PM. But there's only so much we can do to control that. I did have someone reach out recently to me, to report another affiliate doing the same, whereby they were messaging random LET members.

    I personally reached out to this affiliate since their affiliate ID was visible, using our ticketing system letting them know we do not condone this, and it's not the proper way to deliver RackNerd's message.

    I'd suspect that the affiliates are doing this for other companies too. So I'll do my best when it is reported to me, to reach out and communicate with these affiliates.

    Just talking to people I've had discussions with in the past about their ideas and whether we can use some of my space to help them get off the ground, on a joint venture basis. I can get paid if and when it works, which is better than totally idle server space. Also potentially more lucrative in the longer run.

    A specific instance: I now have RackNerd space in LA DC-02, which connects to pipes serving Australia (plus other places). I know somebody who had a potential client base there but couldn't find a good way to serve them from here at the time, just a few months ago. Well now we have it.

    That sounds fun! Looks like a pretty big project.
