    Compare the number of requests for doubling of bw to the number of winners. For a gift which is small in comparison to what's bought as a result of the publicity, it's a winner. It would take a long time to sell all that space to passing traffic. Most of that 2x bw will never get used. How much of the giveaways will be? Many are entering just for the fun of it, no plans for the VPSs.

    It's marketing. Dustin C is a passed master at it.

    @bitseeker .. sure, i do want them to be around too! i have been actively using their service since 11.11 and pretty stable since then. Here's 3-cheers to @dustinc and co. for pulling off such a huge one this BF!

    Yes, many ways to balance the game.

    I'm very happy with the BF and flash deals. Got more than I intended, but very happy. These machines are quick.

    I'll be replacing some six-year-old VPSes that cost about as much but have 1/4th the RAM. Nice upgrades.

    I really like this idea... but only 1 entry per giveaway per person? With a random interval. Could make the games very interesting

    I agree @dominame .. And something that ain't tracked in all these 100pages are the number of people buying the offers on Page #1. Customer acquisition aint easy .. but looks like RackNerd is set for rest of the year with full paid customers if they sustain and meet the SLA through next BF!
