    Yes understand but i'm checking offers for my backup server; i'm looking to strong cpu because i'm going rsync my backup (2TB Data) to another backup and make rsyncing between them everyday..

    Just found @Francisco Slice

    @r1z

    AlphaVPS / @AlexBarakov has some 24xx based VPSs and storage VPSs as well, although I don't know whether both in one.

  • you could get Vegas ryzen + slab from @Francisco
    Nexusbytes/ @seriesn has great service for sure
    if its just for random backups @cociu has the best bang for buck. They have had some problems in the past but I think its quite solid nowdays
    Wishosting / @exception0x876 has also nice offers sometimes so you might find it there

  • I'm generally surprised when people don't care about location. I mean, when you have users all over the world, there's always a trade off and doesn't matter so much. But a backup server? Should be close but not in same DC and maybe region.

    this backup is alternative for my primary backup; which is located in new york, what your suggestion location for new york to be better ?

    I don't care about location as long as it's on Earth.

    I need to start offering moon hosting.
    No IP address. You point an antenna to the direction I tell you, and upload files via FTP.

    You can check our offerings here . We have cheap storage KVMs located in Europe @ 5EUR per TB. Up to 5 additional IPs available throughout the order form. Most of the nodes are Dual E5-2450L's with hardware RAID60 and BBU-backed cache.

    Depends on where you're backing up from, of course.

    this is a bit of a shady request, if you are just backing up your backups why need 5+ ips?
