Believe in the end, is, nigh.

Once you firmly believe you are to face your maker, your memory gets boosted because you have nothing to lose by trying to use your brain.

In a nutshell, believe in someone else.

If you are wondering what the WSS I am saying, a fairly good question.

    What am I saying?

  • KeeWeb is what I use. Syncs with GoogleDrive so I can keep passwords synced between my desktop and mobile.

    Also has a web app - https://keeweb.info/

  • I write down my passwords on a physical notebook.

    By the way,

memorizing database passwords seems quite unecessary, as long as you keep regular backups.

My password is o7j7k3w5. I write it in forums and on Twitter. If I forget, I just look for this post.

Please don't transfer my money or use my calling account. Honor system. Thanks.

  • Bitwarden for managing passwords, along with SSH keys for logging into dedis & VMs.

  • KeepassXC (modern, maintained, OSS)

The encrypted password db can be synced with your file sync tool of choice : Dropbox, Seafile, syncthing.

Dropbox and Seafile have versioning (so you can recover a previous known version).

Tis solution has worked for me for more than 11yrs

  • I have all my passwords in a password manager, in the case that the computer is stolen or hacked the computer will self destruct automatically which will lead to an nuclear blast which will lead to super sonic boom which will lead to nothing.

  • I use keepass back then. Now I am using Bitwarden.

I use the FF built-in feature. its minimal difference.

i use the pass utility on the linux cli (as this integrates well with my standard toolchain)
    https://www.passwordstore.org/

for beginners i would recommend keepass:

just remember to back up your stuff.

  • Bitwarden + Firefox sync works well for me.

And everything is hijacked at the same time :D

    I use bitwarden on CX11 @ Hetzner

    But no password crisis

  • I have an algorithm for passwords. Depends on nickname and website (or app).

Why 1P and not Bitwarden? Any convincingly argument for using 1p instead of bw?

  • Yeah, password managers are the answer. I personally really like Enpass, it has stuffs like blank templates and password paste keyboard for android.

I've been using it since before BW existed.

This sounds neat... if you still remember the username

    Thanks for ruining my plans...

  • You guys save your passwords? I reset it every time.

  • Checking out Bitwarden flew under my radar. This thread has been funny as hell as well.

  • Using Enpass here. Can't complain :)

  • Anyone tried bitwarden_rs? Seems to be pretty inconvenient to install compared to the normal bitwarden. Since the new update I have high cpu peaks with the normal version.

Sometimes I set browser to remember password and then I don't have to worry, my browser remembers for me.

    No password crisis .
