Panel to deploy Python websites?

ericlsericls Member, Patron Provider

What is a good panel to deploy Python websites? Preferably both WSGI and ASGI ?

Thanks in advance

CloudLinux supports Python. However, not every hosting company offer this feature as default. So, it is a good idea to ask them first.

I've not used it myself but ApisCP says it suitable for Python sites. @nem might be able to confirm or check https://apiscp.com/

It's rather Python supports CloudLinux, I would say. Try to remove it and see what happens to CL.

Looks interesting! wonder why isn't this more popular than cpanel and directadmin which (mostly) only supports php.

  • For a shared hosting like solution,

Is there a panel like that so I can provide a similar service for other users?

ApisCP was used internally for Apis Networks/Hostineer since 2002. In January 2017 seeing the inevitable market transition from shared to VPS (next-gen shared hosting), I split the companies and began cleaning up code for a public release, which happened in June 2018. ApisCP has only existed in public view for a little more than 2 years with a push, so long as Hostineer continues to bankroll development, toward features rather than marketing - Docker was just added earlier today! A good product sells itself, this is certainly one of those situations :)

Any-version Python powered by Passenger has been around since 2015. With Docker launched today, that's another avenue of integration.

I've tried it. It's not that great. But I might give it another try later

APISCP (see @nem 's threads) might have all you need. Very competent author with a strong security focus.

Take a look at our Cloud PaaS https://Cloudjiffy.com. We have one-click Python hosting with git integration, web based ssh and code editor, and auto scaling of containers.

https://alwaysdata.com has good support for many kinds of scripts including Python, PHP, Go, and even bash.
I wonder what is behind their systems.

I was able to get my Wagtail running smoothly on OpenLiteSpeed and it’s built in panel. It definitely wasn’t turnkey but good performance.
