Greencloudvps and FreeRangeCloud are the two I know of.
@youandri We have our macOS VPS plans listed on https://cloudxmac.com/
Please DM me if you have any questions.
Thanks!
If you need to just use some type of mac env, check out macincloud.com
Several options for hourly or dedicated instances
Thank you, but there is no under 10$?
Macs are everything but cheap
What is the purpose?
Just personal purpose to learning mac os.
For learning purposes just use a local virtualized MacOS, it's free.
It’s not free.
Its free, its just not legal
Well, following that twisted ideology everything is free, you just need to be a skilled thief.
not really, noone steals anything, but im just wondering how do you want to pay for something (local virtualisation of mac os x) if its simple not possible in a legal way on non Apple Hardware..
You either do it on Apple HW, which is perfectly possible, or you don't virtualise if it doesn't work for you, it's as simple as that.
right so you definition of "its not free" just means "buy a mac", cus thats kinda a different answer..
cus even on a mac you can virtualize mac os for free
In order not to **** your mac sistem while learning is better to virtualize .. it's free, this was my point, sorry for misunderstanding.
Mac and cheese is cheap.
Mac by Apple is anything but cheap.
Did you check the pay as you go option? It's cheap and efficient. Unless there is something else you plan
Because someone have price constraints.
Not yet. I will see.
You could look at https://github.com/foxlet/macOS-Simple-KVM
Maybe a provider will try this for you, maybe you can get a virtual machine that supports nested virtualization and do it yourself.
Don't know if it works though, as I do not have a Debian hypervisor to test.
Wow. It's cool. Will try.
And break Apple's EULA in the process? Hell no. (the part where it says that MacOS should only be run on Apple hardware)
Apple only allows virtualization on Apple hardware, that's why the macOS VPS pricing is not cheap. The cost for a MAC Pro is at least 3x to 4x of a server with the same specs, not mention that it needs 4U colocation space to compare with 1U server.
You can try https://github.com/myspaghetti/macos-virtualbox
Performance of Mac OS on virtualBox is not that great but its okay for testing/learning stuff. I would suggest KVM for better performance.
try Vultr Cheap VPS
I tried but it hasn't worked.
Vultr have vps with mac os?
What difference is there in hosting on a Mac? I can't say I've ever really come across a site that was clearly or obviously hosted on a Mac. Would it end up like using MAMP?
I've used remotely hosted macs for development and other mac related work when I'm on a Linux box. Most people wouldn't use a mac for hosting their websites but will use it to access XCode or other mac related applications.
Have a look at @freerangecloud - pretty sure they have Mac VPS
We can do mac OS VMs in Fremont. They're not currently on our new website, but it runs down to about $12.99/mo for 2GB RAM, single core, 50GB SSD.
