Can somebody recommend me a VPS host that has Layer 7 HTTP flood DDoS protection?
Many server hosts offer 'normal' DDoS protection (attacks on the server IP) but it's hard to find one that offers Layer 7 (application layer) protection.

what kind of application layer protection you need? because for HTTP traffic you can't have a proper filter directly on the server.
most of the times you need to rely on a reverse proxy (see cloudflare, etc..)

If you need quality mitigation look no further than us. We offer remote protection so use any VPS provider for your backend (if in doubt we commonly use Vultr and DigitalOcean).
