Looking for Storage VPS/Server in Europe
Hello,
Looking for a cheap (but decent provider) storage vps/server. I have been using dacentec for a while now but I have moved most of my server/vps to Europe. So dacentec are not making much sense at the moment. (But their $25/m server with 6GB storage is mouth watering)
So looking for something decent and reliable in EU to backup my stuff.

How much space are you looking for ? something to match the 6TB ?

As I recall the 6TB was JBOD capacity at Dacentec right? or was it RAID-ed?
Right now, Hetzner auctions have got some cheap 6TB (JBOD capacity 2x3TB) i7 DEDIs! for 23 euros and change. (Passmark > 9000)

You can add a 10TB Enterprise drive later at any time (20Eur/mo) if you decide you want RAID1 on the included disks instead of RAID0/JBOD
Install debian 10 from their template, add proxmox and you're off to hobby virtualization heaven.
Edit: Simpler options for storage upgrades being ordering a 'StorageBox drive' addon from Hetzner(it's just ZFS-backed redundant storage running on their gigantic managed storage servers)
and mount it via their samba login details as additional storage inside proxmox . 2TB is 9.9 Eur/mo; gets cheaper as you move up.

That's how I'd do it if I had the same budget.
You get a decent base load capacity with ability to scale up storage as needed.
Alternatively, if Hosthatch shows up out of the blue with their RARE insane (new location launch special) storage offers. (IIRC they let you create customer storage KVM at $2.5 per additional 1TB), ignore everything I said.
