What's the Average Uptime of a lowend VPS?
1CORE CPU, 512MB RAM, 10GB SSD
I using dedicated server in the past and the Uptime is almost 99.9X%.
2 Days ago, I decided to try something new and rent a lowend VPS, I setup a Wordpress site with nothing on it,then I decided to use pingdom to keep track the ping before put more efforts on it. So far, the Uptime is around 94.3% only.
Please let me know what you think,

Depends on the provider.
Premium providers on low-end like @seriesn @Francisco @RamNode @AnthonySmith have almost 100% uptime.
And some shots like @DignusData have 90%. 😁
Overall if you are not considering the actual juice your application/user volume etc need,and if it is not the cause for downtime, anything below 99.9% is unacceptable in production use.
Talk to your current hosting support team for causes or any remedy steps, or try with some other host.
I agree, it varies with provider, same specs does not mean same performance for all providers.

I think my case is also the SSD. Because Sometime it runs extremely slow. 1.4kB/S
You went wrong with this provider. Backup and move on!
I have about 99%. Some providers I use have zero downtime in the last few years.

Its SSD and its not oversold. There was someone abusing that our monitoring missed. Its been resolved.
