Plex Question

I have a Kimsufi and a Soyoustart server both in BHS. What options do I have to pull the media from the Kimsufi and transcode/play it from the Soyoustart server with the beefy cpu?

Comments

  • Best option is probably to mount the kimsufi server as a remote drive with sshfs or something similar. That being said your likely to run into performance issues with your requested setup.

Do you mean the 100 Mbps from the Kimsufi?

Why the need to trascode. Even my atom Kimsufi does multi 1080p direct plays. How many concurrent streams and at what quality are you looking for.
