Need a plex server for $5 or less
Looking for a server that can be used to host a plex server for at least 1 stream (most will be direct stream, although there will be occasional trans coding when streaming), storage space at least 250GB (preferably more).
Any suggestions? As cheap as possible please.

Any transcoding is going above and beyond most fups. Just grab seedbox or crappy dedi. Beware though, plex and LET cheap typically never work good and you will not be satisfied with peering, buffering, etc
Poor mans plex:
Online.net/kinsufi for direct streams
Buyvm/hostsolutions/any cheap vps here with adequate bandwidth and cpu usage. Maybe dingus? There offers are ridiculously cheap but support seems nonexistent, but who knows
By plex server i also assume its being used as an aio for torrents and arrs*? Or just media box mounting your feeder or gdrive?
Why not just a plex share like mingobox for like 5$ month and not worry about any of this or library building. Personally spend almost $100 month on my setup for about 50 friends and family but more so has become main hobby.
where can i find plex share and what is this mingobox? Google search finds no result
While they are cancer, in cases like yours where you expect a media server for under $5, its an imperfect solution. I'll send pm
